The Muni Muni Story

Hi! I'm E, but some people also call me Ayami. I'm the artist behind Muni Muni!

Muni Muni (pronounced as "moony-moony") is a Filipino word that means 'to reflect, ponder, or engage in deep thought'.

My art is the product of my deep thoughts during the height of the pandemic. I fell in love with polymer clay back in 2020 when everything was shut down. My only experience with clay prior to that was making my cousins hair clip and hairpin designs from clay. Was it good? No. Was it fun to do? Yes. I continued my clay journey privately until I thought I was ready to show the world my work in 2021.

I love creating unique, whimsical, and feminine art through clay. I love making tiny food, adorable charms, and cute characters then turn them into something you could use daily.

My ultimate goal is to connect with my people through shared creativity and fondness for oddities; and to munifacture beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that you'll cherish for years to come.

I am grateful for the support of those who choose to shop small and support independent businesses like mine. Thank you for being a part of the com-MUNI-ty!
